There is a seemingly limitless sea of homeplans available, either in published books, or online that you could go through, trying to find that one plan that has that curbside look you like so much, or the one with the laundry room between the garage and the kitchen, or the one that accents a view to a lake. Often times you'll find a plan that has one feature that your looking for, but lacks in other areas. You don't have to settle for someone elses idea of the perfect home. We can create it, just the way you want it.

It's overwhelming really, all the products and options that are available to consumers today that are looking to build or remodel their home. In my 13+ years in the building materials industry I have just scratched the surface to all the options that are really out there. And I worked in the business everyday. I cannot imagine walking into it with little prior exposure, so it is important to work with someone that not only has a grasp on design concepts of useable space, and computer aided design, but a solid understanding of the products that are available, and how best they can be used, and more importantly, what they cost.

Ask almost any builder, and he'll tell you that some home designers must live on another planet because they just dont understand that all of the things they design will have a cost to build associated with it at some point. I know this all too well. I currently work for a builder myself and not only do I know what different building options cost, but I wrote the software that they use to quote them.

I have designed homes where all the customer really specified was a certain living room configuration, and a specific kitchen layout, and the rest of the home just took shape from there. I have designed homes where the customer just liked a front elevation of one plan, but the rear elevation of another, and again, I combined those together to give them exactly what they wanted.

It's not uncommon for people to approach me in borderline dissarray and up in arms about which online floor plan to choose. With the overwhelming choices available of floor plans, and elevations, that are available online, it's no wonder people get overloaded.

I could list sites here that would show you thousands upon thousands of home plans to choose from, but I dont see the point when after one sit down meeting with me and after telling me a bit about lifestyle, location, room preference, home style, and other assorted details. We can begin creating the floor plan youve been looking for.
